The global economic crisis

Born as the ‘subprime crisis’ in Fall 2007, the crisis metastasized in September 2008 via the financial system and now the trade system. The crisis is now spreading to the emerging markets and developing nations – at an unexpectedly abrupt pace and in unforeseen ways.  This is a truly global economic crisis.
