7 December 2009 "What are Targeted Sanctions?"Thomas Biersteker, Gasteyger Professor of International Security at the Graduate Institute, and co-author of the 2006 “Watson Report”, presented an overview of the issue of targeted sanctions, the challenges they face and offered recommendations for addressing them. The event, hosted by the Graduate Institute was organised by the Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding (CCDP) with the support of UNO Academia.
