A significant number of scholarships are awarded each year to our students attending our Master and PhD's programmes. Allocation of scholarships is based on the evaluation of candidate's academic merit and financial need. Scholarships are awarded for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Categories of Scholarships
Usually, these full scholarships amount CHF 18,000. Recipients are exempt from the Graduate Institute's tuition fees; however they are still required to pay the fees at the University of Geneva. Some full grants are awarded subject to special conditions (duration of study and/or geographical origin of students).
The value of these grants varies according to the individual needs of the recipient student. Recipients still need to cover their tuition fees.
These grants cover tuition fees for one academic year. They are awarded to exceptional students.
