The Centre for Trade and Economic Integration (CTEI) hosted on the 2nd of March 2009 its annual event discussing the developments in the WTO Dispute Settlement. Ambassador Mario Matus, Chairman of the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) in 2008 at the WTO, initiated the event with a presentation on the Developments in the past year. The introduction was followed by a presentation on the 2008 Annual Report of the Appellate Body by Professor Giorgio Sacerdoti. The event concluded with a roundtable discussion and a Q & A session on WTO Dispute Settlement in 2008, moderated by Joost Pauwelyn of the Graduate Institute.
