Dr Hofmann has been a faculty member since 2009. Prior to joining the Graduate Institute faculty, Dr Hofmann was a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute, Italy (2008-2009) and a Research Fellow at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (2005- 2008). Dr Hofmann has published in journals such as Perspectives on Politics and Politique étrangère and is currently working on a book on the transatlantic security relationship and the creation of European security institutions. She recently started a research project on regime complexity and burden-sharing among international organisations.
