Chantal Berger

Chantal Berger is project officer for capacity building at the Global Health Programme. In her current role, she is in charge of the coordination and development of the programme’s executive education courses on global health diplomacy, both in Geneva and worldwide. She also assists with publications, curriculum development and standardization.

Chantal holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and a Bachelors degree in Political Science. Her main areas of research include global health diplomacy, public-private partnerships for health, the role of NGOs and civil society, child protection and humanitarian response coordination. In previous positions she has worked on child protection issues, humanitarian funding, and partnerships in emergencies both at headquarters level and in the field. She also has experience working with academic institutions, preparing trainings for professionals in humanitarian affairs and child protection.
