Dario is a Ph.D. candidate in International Law at the Graduate Institute of Geneva and a Research Assistant at its Centre for International Environmental Studies. A graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (MSc in Environment and Development) and of the University of Siena (JD, cum laude), his main areas of expertise include international environmental law and governance, trade, climate change, global health and social-ecological resilience.
Since 2012, Dario has collaborated with the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), first as a Project Member of SDSN Mediterranean and most recently as the Project Leader for Solutions Initiatives of SDSN Youth. In 2017, he was a co-recipient of an Erasmus+ Grant for Jean Monnet Modules (project title: European Union Law and Sustainable Development) and is now the Module’s programme manager. From 2016 to 2018, Dario has worked as a Research Officer at the Global Health Centre of the Graduate Institute, focusing on a 2-year research project aimed at exploring the evolution of the global health governance regime and its effectiveness in dealing with present and future challenges including HIV/AIDS, Ebola and antimicrobial resistance
