I am Pedro Cayul, a Chilean-Mapuche PhD candidate in Development Economics. I did my undergraduate and my Master in Economics in Universidad de Chile, where I worked as teaching assistant both for undergraduate and graduate courses for 6 years.
After that I have worked as a consultant for the World Bank for almost 4 years and 6 months in UNCTAD as well. I am working as co-author at “Mapuche Data Project (MDP)”, which main’s goal is to collect, process and provide free access databases relative to Mapuche topics like demography, political representation, and conflict for academic use.
My research interests are related to indigenous conflict in Latin America, as well as political economics.
