Peiling Yap is Chief Scientist for the I-DAIR project at the Global Health Centre. She is a Swiss epidemiologist, born and raised in Malaysia and Singapore. She has research experience in neglected tropical diseases, infectious diseases and public health in China and other parts of Asia. Her recent research focused on using mixed methodology in implementing and evaluating both analog and digital public health interventions. Prior to joining I-DAIR, she worked as a Senior Epidemiologist at the National Center for Infectious Diseases in Singapore and as an Epidemiologist at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, where she also earned her Phd in Epidemiology.
