Radu  is a PhD student in Development Economics at the Graduate Institute and a Research Assistant for the Centre of International Environmental Studies. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management and a Master in Business Administration from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. He also holds a Master in International Economics from the Graduate Institute. Radu’s research focuses on the dynamics of gender gaps in labour markets and the role of the regional structure of the economy.

In the past, Radu’s work experience exposed him to research on knowledge, education and aid policies, training and vocational education, inequalities in human capital formation and labour market dynamics at NORRAG and the International Labour Organization. His work experience also includes over 10 years of consulting, communication and project management in the private sector for corporations such as Nestlé, Samsung, Wolters Kluwer, Unilever, or Condé Nast. With a specialisation in corporate social responsibility communication, Radu worked close with research institutes to assess the impacts of technology on individual and social outcomes.
