Dear Alumnae,
Dear Alumni,

We hope you and yours are safe and healthy.

Although the physical ties to each other have been suspended for the sake of the health and safety of all, we remain committed to keeping the alumni community connected and thriving. We are hopeful that the situation will ameliorate soon and we will be able to see you all in person at the Annual Alumni Reunion on 12 September 2020

In the meantime, the Graduate Institute’s students, faculty and staff are staying at home to help stop the spread of COVID-19. However our professors are continuing to share their knowledge and expertise on the subject, most recently through the launch of a new series of pocket lectures titled “What do you know”, in partnership with Heidi.news. The first episode, “The Medical Shock & the Economic Shock”, features Richard Baldwin, Professor of International Economics.

The Medical Shock & the Economic Shock, a Pocket Lecture by Professor Richard Baldwin

For the videoreunion, both Philippe Burrin, Director of the Graduate Institute, and Professor Richard Baldwin will be present.

After presenting his pocket lecture, Professor Baldwin will remain for a 30-minute Q&A session. The Q&A will be followed by an informal chat with our Director who will discuss how the Institute is continuing its academic programmes online, the measures in place to assist our community, as well as give an overview of his directorship and his future plans.
