Hirotaka Fujibayashi is a PhD candidate in International Relations and Political Science at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. His research focuses on the interlinkages between refugee migration and state foreign policy. In his PhD project, he explores a variety of states' responses to refugees and forced migration on the international scenes. He holds a Bachelor in Laws and a Master in International Studies from the University of Tokyo, Japan.
