Katja Doose

Dr. des. Katja Doose is a research fellow in Russian environmental studies at the University of Birmingham. In 2017 she finished her doctoral thesis at the University of Tübingen analysing the impact of the 1988 Armenian earthquake on the trajectories of change in Soviet Armenia and the Soviet Union. Her research interests include the history of the Soviet Union and Russia, Soviet environmental history, disaster studies and the history of science.
