Laura Schenker is a PhD Candidate in the International Relations/Political Science department. Her research focuses on the diffusion of public policies across local bureaucracies --a topic she investigates through the lens of organisational theory and complex systems, using archival research, semi-structured interviews, and network analysis techniques. Her project, “Packages and Routines: The Diffusion of Policy Innovation Across Cities” is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation Doc.CH scheme. She holds a Master in International Relations/Political Science from the Graduate Institute, and a Bachelor in Political Science from the University of Geneva.
