PROFILE
 

Lucas Figueroa is a visiting fellow at the Albert Hirschman Center on Democracy financed with the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship and PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of San Martin in Argentina. His PhD dissertation focus on the enforcement of an environmental national policy in a subnational level of government. Specifically, he works on the enforcement process of the National Forest Law in different Argentinian provinces. Also, he participate in research projects related to the creation of natural protect areas in Latin America and the participation of youth people in environmental issues. 

Currently, he is teaching assistant in Comparative Politics at the University of San Martin in Argentina.  <
