Moeen is a Research Assistant at the Global Health Centre and a dual-degree Master’s candidate in International Affairs at the Geneva Graduate Institute, having obtained his first Master’s degree in Global Health from the University of Geneva. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

Currently, he is working with Daniela Morich at the Governing Pandemics Initiative led by Professor Suerie Moon and Professor Gian Luca Burci.

Moeen has experience working as junior consultant for WHO country office in Iran supporting the Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Program. Prior to joining the Centre, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Geneva Centre of Humanitarian Studies conducting research on access to COVID-19 vaccines for refugees and migrants.
