Anne Saab - Associate Professor of International Law and Director of the Executive Certificate in Environmental Governance

Anne Saab is an Associate Professor in International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She serves as the Co-Director of the LL.M. in International Law and as the Director of the Executive Certificate in Environmental Governance. Anne obtained a PhD in International Law from the London School of Economics in 2015. Prior to joining academia, Anne worked as a policy officer and legal counsel at the Ministry of Agriculture and Economic Affairs and the Foreign Office in The Hague. Her areas of interest and expertise include food and agriculture, climate change, intellectual property law, and emotions and international law. Read full bio>
Gian Luca Burci - Adjunct Professor, International Law

Gian Luca Burci is an Adjunct Professor of international law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. He is also the Director of the joint LL.M. on Global Health Law and Governance between the Graduate Institute and Georgetown Law School. Before his appointment at the Graduate Institute, Gian Luca Burci served in the Legal Office of the World Health Organization from 1998 to 2016 and was its Legal Counsel from 2005 to 2016. Prof. Burci holds a post graduate degree in law from the University of Genova, Italy. His areas of expertise are public international law, the law and practice of international organizations as well as global health governance and law. Read full bio>

Daniela Morich - Learning Manager for the Executive Certificate in Environmental Governance

Daniela Morich currently serves as the Learning Manager for the Executive Certificate in Environmental Governance at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and collaborates with a number of non-profit organizations in the field of environmental and climate change law. Daniela is a French-qualified lawyer. She started her career at the United Nations and held assignments in Italy, Burundi, and Brazil, followed by positions with the U.S. State Department in Afghanistan and France. In the private sector, Daniela worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in its Paris international arbitration group.
