Nika is a PhD candidate in International Economics at the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Finance and Development. His research lies in Monetary Policy, International Macro-Finance, Macroprudential Policy, Fiscal Policy and Macroeconomic Forecasting exploring both, theoretical and empirical aspects. During his PhD, Nika was a PhD Intern at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Sveriges Riksbank and European Stability Mechanism (ESM). He also was an Economist at the National Bank of Georgia and Research Assistant at Bilateral Assistance and Capacity Building for Central Banks (BCC Programme). Nika obtained his MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Economics from the International Black Sea University.
