We would like to warmly invite you to the Spring Forum of the Geneva Impact Investing Association, taking place next week on the 16th, 17th and 19th April 2024! All events will be held in person at the Geneva Graduate Institute campus, Maison de la Paix.
Throughout the GIIA Forum, we will be exploring diverse topics within impact investing and sustainable finance, connecting students and academic, private, public and IO sector professionals. We wish to promote networking opportunities, education, and stimulate discussion to provide youth with an entry point to the sustainable finance and impact investing industry.

Day 1: Tuesday 16th April
12:15–14:00: GIIA Forum Opening Event: Peace Finance Panel (12:15-13:15) and Apero (13:15-14:00). Sign up here. The panel will host Bettina Boeckle, the new Head of Partnerships at Finance for Peace (incubated by Interpeace), Dominique Habegger, CSO of de Pury Pictet Turrettini, and Scott Weber, President and CEO of Peaceinvest, a global investment company headquartered in Geneva.
14:00-15:30: Let’s Talk About: Gender Lens Investing. Sign up here. For this event, we welcome Ekatherina Kazantseva, an Investment Analyst working on the Fintech team, an innovative unit at Symbiotics investments providing debt to fintechs and tech-enabled companies in emerging markets.

11:00-12:30: Let’s Talk About: Innovative Finance for Education. Sign up here. Our speakers for this event are Emon Nandi, Assistant Professor at the Centre of Excellence in Teacher Education (CETE) in Mumbai, and Hinah Mian, GIIA alumni and current Trainee in Advancing Research & Systems Change in Education at the Jacobs Foundation.
Day 3: Friday 19th April
10:15-11:45: Let’s Talk About: Carbon Credits and Engaging Youth. Sign up here. This event will be led by Miklós Veszprémi, currently working at the BCG and is a World Economic Forum Fellow in the Center for Nature and Climate. He will guide our two panelists: Jean-Pierre Reymond, a Swiss career diplomat who is focusing on innovative forms of fostering climate action, and Nathan Sussman, professor of IHEID, director of Centre for Finance and Development, and Co-director of the MA In Sustainable Finance and Development.
