Presentation

Because stepping into someone else's shoes is sometimes the most effective way to understand them, we invite you to rediscover the world through the lens of neurodiversity.

Come and:

  • Discover invisible disorders and disabilities through an immersive circuit featuring a photo exhibition, informative posters, virtual reality workshops, and hands-on experiences.
  • Reflect on your feelings, perceptions, and knowledge at the end of the circuit.

As part of the DEI initiative action plan to raise awareness on our diversity,  UNIGE Student Health Service Avenir Inclusif project, and the Autisme Genève association have lent this circuit to the Institute. They have developed an immersive awareness-raising circuit on invisible disorders and disabilities (ASD, ADHD, etc.), in collaboration with the Clinical Psychology Unit for Disability Situations at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Geneva.

Programme

The Immersive Circuit

The circuit consists of a few activities designed to help you better understand the concept of neurodiversity. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD), and learning disabilities (Dys disorders) will be highlighted through:

  • A portrait exhibition of well-known neurodivergent individuals
  • Informative posters
  • Virtual reality workshops and hands-on experiences

Reflection and Sharing

At the end of the circuit, you will have the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings about your immersion into the world of neurodiversity.
