LinkedIn is the number one professional social media platform. It may be the least cool of all the social networks, but it can be a powerful career tool if used correctly. Through LinkedIn, one can learn about their topics of interest, get updated on their knowledge, discover potential mentors, engage outside of their usual communities, connect with professionals and ultimately, even find a job.

This workshop will help beginners in LinkedIn to get a firmer grasp of what are the best tools to use and how to set their account in a way that attracts more relevant people in their areas of interests. It will also give students a better understanding of how to best connect through LinkedIn and leverage it for in-person connections.

Through this workshop, you will be able to learn :

  • To leverage all the important tools LinkedIn has to offer for searching jobs and being seen by the right people.

  • To connect with professionals, recruiters, experts, mentors, etc… In the best possible way.

  • To contribute and engage with different communities around your topics of interests.
