Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin is the UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for Egypt and UN Special Envoy on Financing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. He served as the World Bank Group Senior Vice President for the 2030 Development Agenda, United Nations Relations, and Partnerships until January 2020

Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin will present the Cop27, to be convened in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt from 6 – 18 November 2022, focusing on the Political Economy of Climate Finance and Investment. His presentation will be followed by a discussion with Professors from the Geneva Graduate Institute, and by Q&As with the public.
