Neus Torbisco Casals, Graduate Institute

Neus Torbisco Casals is an adjunct professor of international law at the Graduate Institute. She is also Associate Professor of Law at Pompeu Fabra University. She has held various teaching and research positions, including at the London School of Economics,New York University (as Hauser Research Scholar), the Harvard Law School and, more recently, the Geneva Academy. Neus’ expertise covers human rights, cultural diversity, identity claims, minority and indigenous peoples’ rights, gender and race equality. Her SNF project examined diversity on the international bench (2019-2022). She is the author of Group Rights as Human Rights: A Liberal Approach to Multiculturalism (2006).
