Everyday Queer Resistance in Singapore: The Opportunities and Challenges of Researching In/With Urban Surveillance
A roundtable with:
- Kamalini Ramdas, Senior Lecturer, Department of Geography, National University of Singapore
- Laura Garcia Vargas, Research Associate, Edgelands Institute
- Fabian Hofmann, Master's Candidate in International Relations/Political Science, Geneva Graduate Institute
The roundtable is part of a one-day exhibition at S12 of a participatory photography project with seven queer individuals in Singapore.
The generated photographs capture both the (in)security perceptions of marginalized communities in Singapore as well as their everyday resistance strategies and community-building attempts.
