Chairman of the Board of Lundin Petroleum AB.

This conference is organised as part of the Executive Master in International Oil and Gas Leadership.

Mr Lundin will discuss the ongoing dominance of Oil & Gas within the Energy Sector, with relevant prospects for interesting career opportunities.
 

As Chairman of the Board of Lundin Petroleum, Mr Lundin also serves as Chairman of Etrion Corporation, a publicly listed solar power producer in Italy and for Bukowskis AB, a Swedish auction house.

Born 1960 in France, Ian Lundin started his professional career as a drilling engineer with Wintershall AG (a subsidiary of BASF) based in Northern Greece. He joined the Lundin Group in 1984 and was transferred to Dubai (UAE), where he lived until 1996. Mr Lundin served as President & CEO for Lundin Oil AB and its predecessors between 1989 and 2001. In 2001, Lundin Oil was acquired by Talisman Energy and Lundin Petroleum was created with certain remaining assets of Lundin Oil. He served as CEO for Lundin Petroleum until 2002, when he was appointed Chairman of the Board.
