You are invited to join us, the Environmental Committee, and the Professional Development Committee for the hybrid Inspire Students Alumni Roundtable: Ask the Experts: Where Next? Climate & Environment Careers on Wednesday, March 18th from 12:30-13:30 CET, either on Webex or in room S7.

Following the roundtable, a networking coffee break will be offered until 14:00.

Meet the panelists:

  • Zaninka Ntagungira (MDEV ‘21) has worked at the Climate Action Accelerator for five years, advancing through several roles from Project Development Intern to her current position as Programme Manager. At the organisation, she plays a key role in building capacity in climate change mitigation and adaptation and supporting national and international organisations to create and implement climate and environmental roadmaps. She also leads the Accelerator’s development in Africa. Before enrolling at the Institute in 2019, she completed research internships at the United Nations Human Rights (OHCHR), the U.S. Overseas Cooperative Development Council, and the International Trade Centre (ITC).

  • Anne Therese Andersen (MIA ‘22) is an Emerging Markets Specialist for Latin America at the Centre for Energy and Materials at the World Economic Forum (WEF). During her time at the Institute, she interned at the Permanent Delegation of Denmark to the OECD and the IEA and then worked at the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD). She also concluded her studies with an internship at the EU delegation to the UN, in the Economic and Environmental Section. After graduation, she joined the WEF where she started as a Country Implementation Specialist, then became a Program Analyst for the Centre for Energy and Materials, before holding her current role. 

  • Mohit Choube (MINT ’24) is a Senior Project Consultant in Ernst & Young’s (EY) Government & Public Sector practice. His work at EY's PMU at India’s Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change (MoEFCC) involves international negotiations and national policymaking on carbon markets. Prior to joining the Institute, he did a bachelors in technology, and worked with national/subnational governments and NGOs in India across climate change, environment, public health, education, agriculture and gender. While pursuing MINT, he interned at the Executive Office of UN Secretary-General, New York, and completed assignments with UNEP, South Centre, Govt. of Paraguay, and Govt. of Djibouti.
