Céline Moreau primarily acts in proceedings involving issues of labour law, both in national and international civil service contexts, as well as labour-related criminal law. She advises an international private clientele, NGOs, institutions, and trade unions on matters related to the protection of workers’ rights and interests. Her areas of specialization include international litigation and the fight against discrimination in the workplace. She regularly represents clients before international bodies such as United Nations mechanisms, the European Court of Human Rights, and the Administrative Tribunal of the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Before founding the firm Peter & Moreau, Céline practised law in Paris and San Francisco and served for several years as an international civil servant at the ILO. She is regularly appointed as an expert by the ILO to assess the compliance of national legal systems with international labour standards and to support the development of new international conventions. Céline is admitted to the Bars of Geneva and Paris. She co-chairs the Committee for Foreign Bar Lawyers of the Geneva Bar Association and co-leads the Paris-Geneva Committee of the Paris Bar. She is also a member of the Association of Progressive Lawyers and of the International Lawyers Assisting Workers Network (ILAW).

Emma Lidén specialises in human rights law and the labour law of international civil servants, with a particular focus on discrimination. She advises NGOs and individuals on strategic litigation and intervenes on their behalf before international human rights bodies. She regularly represents human rights defenders, survivors, and victims of discrimination-based violence and assists individuals and their representatives in raising human rights claims within internal proceedings. Emma holds an LL.M. in Human Rights, Conflict, and Justice from SOAS University of London and a Master’s degree in International and European Law from the Universities of Geneva and Sydney. She was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2020 after completing her traineeship at Santamaria & Jakob Avocats.

Before joining Peter & Moreau in February 2022, she worked as a lawyer for the UNIA trade union, focusing on workplace discrimination, mobbing, and sexual harassment. She also gained experience in asylum and refugee law. Emma is a committee member of ElisaAsile and a member of the Association of Progressive Lawyers (AJP) as well as of the Swiss Institute for Feminist and Gender Law Studies (FRI).
