Stephen Margetts is the Director of Legal Affairs for UNRWA, having served with the United Nations for over 25 years. Prior to his current role he acted as a prosecuting attorney before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague, and as a lawyer in the Secretariat of the United Nations in New York advising senior management in the Organization on internal regulatory and change management issues.
