The Geneva Graduate Institute, in partnership with GWL Voices, invites you to a thought-provoking event marking the presentation of the Decalogue for the Next UN Secretary-General, a document developed by the cohort of Her Turn Rapporteurs that highlights the key priorities the next Secretary-General should address from a youth perspective.

HER TURN Harvest is a structured participation model designed to reshape global governance dialogue by placing youth at the center — as knowledge producers, political interlocutors, and movement builders. This session will showcase the outcome of this process: a Decalogue capturing youth priorities and values that should guide the next Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Bringing together distinguished speakers and student rapporteurs, the discussion will explore how intergenerational dialogue can strengthen multilateralism and advance inclusive leadership, with a particular focus on gender equality and representation.

Moderation

  • Claudia Seymour, Head of Applied Research and Practice, Geneva Graduate Institute

Panelists

  • Susana Malcorra, President and Co-founder, GWL Voices
  • Marie-Laure Salles, Director, Geneva Graduate Institute
  • Representatives from the HER TURN Harvest student cohort

This event offers a unique opportunity to engage with emerging voices and reflect on the future of global leadership. It will follow an invite-only official debate with UN Secretary-General candidates organised by GWL Voices at the Geneva Graduate Institute.
