Pathways to reparatory justice for the legacies of enslavement and colonialism:  challenges and ways forward

 

The event will explore pathways to advancing reparatory justice for legacies of enslavement, the trade in enslaved Africans and colonialism through a human rights-based approach. It will unpack the key elements needed to deliver reparatory justice through a comprehensive package of measures developed with the meaningful participation of affected communities. It will further examine legal and other challenges in ensuring accountability.
