Open your mind and career to the private sector. Join us for an exciting week of presentations from a variety of Swiss and international companies.

The Private Sector Career Expo is a weeklong event hosted at La Maison de la Paix. It is organised by the Institute's Career Services in partnership with participating companies and corporations.

The event is exclusive to students and alumni of the Geneva Graduate Institute and the Geneva Academy.

Registration will open in October.

 

 

Information for employers:

The Private Sector Career Expo is an opportunity to introduce your company to students and alumni of the Geneva Graduate Institute and the Geneva Academy. You can present your organisation, explain your sector and career paths, promote current opportunities, and answer questions from participants.

Who can participate?

We welcome private sector companies of all sizes, from local businesses to multinational corporations. Participation is free of charge.

Event format

Each company will receive a one-hour slot for a presentation and Q&A session. Presentations may take place in person or online, although in-person participation is strongly encouraged.

  • Monday 9 November: 09:00 to 17:00
  • Tuesday 10 November: 12:00 to 17:00
  • Wednesday 11 November: 14:00 to 17:00
  • Thursday 12 November: 14:00 to 17:00
  • Friday 13 November: 09:00 to 17:00

To request a presentation slot, please contact Career Services at career@graduateinstitute.ch and indicate:

• Your preferred date and time
• Whether you would like to participate in person or online
• The name and contact details of the company representative

About our students

The Geneva Graduate Institute has approximately 1,000 Master’s and PhD students representing more than 100 nationalities. They study international affairs across fields including economics, history, law, political science, anthropology and sociology.

Our interdisciplinary Master’s programme in International and Development Studies also offers specialisations in Conflict, Peace and Security; Environment and Sustainability; Gender, Race and Diversity; Human Rights and Humanitarianism; Mobilities, Migrations and Boundaries; Sustainable Trade and Finance; and Global Health.
 

 

 

Information for students:

 

Curious about careers beyond international organisations, NGOs, government or academia? The Private Sector Career Expo is an opportunity to discover how your skills and international experience can apply across the private sector.

Throughout the week, Swiss and international companies from a range of sectors will come to campus to present their work, career paths and employment opportunities. You will be able to meet company representatives, ask questions and learn more about potential employers.

Each company will give a one-hour presentation and Q&A session between Monday 9 November and Friday 13 November. You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you wish.
