Promoting Circularity in Transition Economies: The Role of Trade and Economic Cooperation

Organized by UNECE in partnership with the Geneva Trade Platform
, -

A country’s capacity to foster a circular economy model, producing more efficiently, polluting less and reusing more will be a critical determinant of lasting prosperity in the 21st Century.

Several developed economies have made well publicized progress in this regard, but far less attention has been paid to the successes and remaining policy challenges of transition economies in Central Asia, Caucasus and the Western Balkans.
