Respect can bring us closer, but in a diverse environment, can it sometimes create isolation?

As part of the Respect Campaign (15 September to 15 December), this Brown Bag Lunch invites students, staff, and faculty to reflect on what respect means at the Graduate Institute. Guided by voices and quotes gathered during the campaign, the discussion will explore shared themes, tensions, and contradictions around respect in classrooms, group work, and daily life.

This is not a panel or a debate, but an informal community conversation. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to join, listen, and contribute. Light food and drinks will be provided.

Speakers:

  • Vayunamu J. Bawa — GISA President
  • Eliane Minassian-Kellermann — Head of Wellbeing and Support
  • Prof. Davide Rodogno — Professor of International History and Politics
