"An Afternoon on Journalism, Humanitarianism & the Future of the Global OrderTo mark the launch of Rebirth: Saisir l'avenir — the new printed edition of the Graduate Press" The Graduate Press invites you to join an open conversation with two distinguished guests at the intersection of media and humanitarian action.

  • Dr. Tammam Aloudat — physician, humanitarian, and CEO of The New Humanitarian — has spent over two decades responding to emergencies across the globe, most recently as President of MSF Netherlands. A leading advocate for decolonising global health, he brings a rare and critical perspective on how the humanitarian system must evolve.
  • Imogen Foulkes — BBC Geneva Correspondent since 2004 and host of Inside Geneva — has reported from conflict zones and post-crisis settings around the world, and remains one of the most thoughtful voices covering international Geneva.

In an interview-style conversation moderated by members of the Graduate Press, the evening will explore the rethinking of journalism and humanitarianism, the future of foreign correspondents, questions of decolonisation in both fields, and the place of students entering them today. The conversation will be followed by an open Q&A, and a closing apéro.
