About the book

Authored by Devika Dutt, Carolina Alves, Surbhi Kesar, and Ingrid Harvold Kvangraven, Decolonizing Economics challenges the Eurocentric foundations that continue to shape economic thought and practice. The authors argue that the discipline’s claims to neutrality and objectivity obscure deep structural power relations, limiting its ability to respond to pressing global challenges—from inequality and labour relations to the climate crisis and uneven development.

By engaging with diverse and non-Eurocentric perspectives, the book invites readers to rethink the political stakes of decolonisation and to envision new approaches that connect economic analysis with social justice, sustainability, and dignity.

We invite you to register your participation using the link below and to share this invitation widely within your networks.

We look forward to welcoming you to this important discussion.
