Dear students,
You are invited to join us for the hybrid Inspire Students Alumni Roundtable: Working in an IO/NGO in Times of Crisis and Political Change on Wednesday, March 5th from 12:30-13:30 CET, either on webex or in room S8.
Following the roundtable, a networking coffee break will be offered until 14:00.
Here are the panelists:
- Laura Steiner (MINT '24 Migration) is a campaigning intern for freedom of expression and civic space at Amnesty International Switzerland. Since joining in August 2024, she has contributed to the Protect the Protest campaign, advocating for the right to peaceful assembly. During her time at the Institute, she worked with the NGO No Name Kitchen in Ventimiglia, Italy, where she and her team provided humanitarian aid to people on the move and monitored border conditions with neighboring France.
- Jasmine Have (ANSO ’23) is a Programme Coordination Consultant at UNESCO, where she supports the management and implementation of the IslandWatch initiative. Since joining in November 2023, she has played a key role in internal coordination, liaising with UNESCO teams, external partners, and member states to ensure effective project execution. She also contributed to resource mobilization efforts and facilitated UNESCO’s participation in the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
We hope that you will be able to join us for this exciting event!
Best wishes,
From Alumnae-i Relations, Carine, Seif, Charlotte & Alexis
