1000 Days of Detention for Fariba Adelkhah

Today, on March 1, it is 1000 days since Fariba Adelkhah, an academic prisoner, is unjustly detained in Iran. She is detained in Evin since June 5, 2019.

Fariba Adelkhah and Roland Marchal, both researchers at Sciences Po’s Center for International Studies (CERI), were arrested in Iran in 2019. They were both detained in the wing of Evin prison in Tehran. Roland was released in 2020, while Fariba is currently been kept at home with an electronic bracelet and cannot go out more than 300 m from her home. She is not the only scientific prisoners of the Islamic Republic.
