The Annual Alumnaeᐧi Reunion Is Just Around the Corner!

The Geneva Graduate Institute’s 2025 edition of the Alumnaeᐧi Reunion will take place on Saturday 13 September and will be jam-packed with exciting events! Students, alumnaeᐧi, professors, and staff can join with family or friends.

We are pleased once again to welcome you to the Alumnaeᐧi Reunion on Saturday 13 September 2025, beginning at 11:00 with an Afro Fitness Workout at Domaine Barton. For the occasion, we have put together a wonderful, updated hybrid programme, combining the formal and the festive, the intellectual and the emotional. We hope that it will be full of new discoveries, inspiring exchanges with students, and happy meetings between alumnaeᐧi to share memories and experiences.

Ahead of its 100th anniversary in 2027, the Institute will unveil its fourth batch of alumnaeᐧi portraits. The event is a unique occasion for our students to exchange with incredible alumnaeᐧi, to meet the new generation of outstanding young alumnaeᐧi —  such as Kossiwa Jacqueline TossoukpeSuba Umathevan, and Yoshinobu Nagamine  — and to mingle with the Alumnaeᐧi Association Committee Members Jasmin DanzeisenTing FangJessica ByronMahmud SamandariMatthew Stephenson, and many others like Andréa MaechlerPatrick Nicollier, and Yachar Nafissi-Azar, around drinks and music.

This part of the celebration will take place in the afternoon, following a panel discussion at 15:00 on “Humanitarianism in a Changing World” with alumnaeᐧi Pierre Krähenbühl, Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Patricia Danzi, Director General at Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), moderated by Professor Achim Wennmann, Nagulendran Chair in Peace Mediation

The Reunion will continue into the evening at the President Wilson Hotel with a gala dinner, the Alumnaeᐧi Awards Ceremony, a tombola raffle to raise a scholarship for a student, and finally, a dance party.

Registration and payment are open until sold out or 3 September.
