APPLICATIONS FOR THE NAVIGATING MIGRATION GOVERNANCE COURSE ARE NOW OPEN

A fully online course designed for professionals and decision-makers, Navigating Migration Governance offers a clear, evidence-based understanding of how migration policies are shaped and implemented. Participants will gain practical analytical tools to better interpret, design, and engage with migration governance in their own work.

Migration is one of the most debated and misunderstood global issues, often shaped by political narratives rather than evidence. How are migration policies really made? And what happens in practice at national and international levels?

To address these questions, the Global Migration Centre and Executive Education at the Graduate Institute are opening registrations for the fully online course Navigating Migration Governance, designed and taught by Professor Vincent Chetail.

Through an interactive learning format, the course provides participants with a structured and critical understanding of migration governance. It explores key policy frameworks, examines the roles of states and international organisations, and unpacks common misconceptions surrounding migration.

Designed for professionals working in public policy, international organisations, NGOs, and related fields, the course equips participants with concrete tools to analyse migration systems, navigate complex policy environments, and apply evidence-based approaches directly in their work.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to critically assess migration policies, understand how governance processes unfold in practice, and engage more effectively in policy discussions and decision-making.

Applications are now open.
