Art with Abhinay Thummaluru

Some students leave their mark through words, others through actions — and some, like Abhinay Thummaluru, touch hearts through art.

When Abhinay shared his paintings with me, I was struck by the depth of sensitivity and emotion conveyed through his brushstrokes. His work speaks a universal language of feeling that resonates far beyond the canvas. What began as an appreciation of his individual talent evolved into something more meaningful: a collaborative gratitude book.

Inspired by Abhinay's artistic expression, two other talented student artists joined the project, contributing their own paintings and poems. Together, these three creators have given our community a beautiful gift — a collection that celebrates gratitude, creativity, and the power of art to connect us.

The resulting book is now available at the Wellbeing Office for a small fee that covers production costs, with proceeds going directly to support our student artists. It's a testament to how one person's willingness to share their creative vision can spark something that benefits an entire community.

Abhinays contribution reminds us that sensitivity isn't a weakness — it's a strength that allows us to see and express the world in ways that help others feel less alone.
