Bern Alumni Chapter 18th Annual Reception

The Bern Chapter of the Geneva Graduate Institute's Alumnae-i Community held its 18th Annual Reception on 7 December 2023.

As part of the Bern Chapter’s 18th Annual Reception — organised for our alumnae and alumni, the diplomatic community and friends of the Geneva Graduate Institute — a discussion was held on the “The Strategic Horizon Scan: Security, Migration and the UN in Times of Radical Uncertainty”.

Nearly 100 participants were present, amongst whom were high officials and prospective students. Marie-Laure Salles, Director of the Geneva Graduate Institute, introduced some key institutional developments for 2023 before moderating the discussion with Professors Keith Krause, Director of the Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding and Professor in International Relations/Political Science, and Lucile Maertens, Co-Director of the Global Governance Centre and Associate Professor in International Relations/Political Science

The discussions were followed by a Q&A session and an excellent networking cocktail.

The Bern Chapter is co-headed by Dea Rolih (’06) and Thierry Beyeler (’09). We thank them for their continued engagement and would like to express our gratitude to everyone who was able to come.
