The day began with a networking breakfast and progressed through presentations, breakout discussions, and a powerful closing session on leadership and legacy.
Our co-Director, Professor Dominic Rohner, also gave a compelling talk and presented insights from his book The Peace Formula. His presentation explored the deep interconnectedness between environmental degradation and violent conflict and outlined a framework for sustainable peace based on inclusive governance, economic opportunity and dignity, and the rule of law and security.
We also addressed emerging challenges like green hushing and the ethical dilemmas raised by AI tools, including large language models.
We would like to extend our deepest thanks to all the Fellows who took part in this rich, honest, and forward-looking dialogue. We’re particularly excited about the opportunities to synergise the work of the Hoffmann Centre for Global Sustainability and the Hoffmann Fellows, and we look forward to creating new collaborations and advancing shared missions.
