CDHM Affiliate Presentation: "Proposal: Exploring the relationship between aesthetic and geopolitical aspects of the Palais des Nations and other international organisations”

CDHM affiliate presentations allow for an open exchange of ideas and reporting on pertinent issues regarding the work of the Centre.

The CDHM welcomed Federica Martini, art historian, curator and Associate Professor and Head of the Critical Curatorial Cybermedia (CCC) Research master’s program, to present on the HEAD – Genève HES-SO practice- and theory-based program, its themes on the intersection between technology and design, as well as related work involving the archival and institutional history of international Geneva.

Discussion involved how the CDHM and HEAD – Genève might collaborate in and outside of the classroom on future projects following interrelated proposals that explore the relationship between aesthetic and geopolitical aspects of the Palais des Nations and other IOs. Talks are ongoing on next steps and additional interdisciplinary collaborators.
