On May 8, 2025 CDHM co-directors Grégoire Mallard and Davide Rodogno joined CDHM Head of Strategic Partnerships Pierre-Etienne Bourneuf, IHEID Head of Library Yves Corpataux, CDHM research affiliate Barbara Hof, EPFL Prof. Jérôme Baudry, Ion-Gabriel Mihailescu, and CDHM advisor and Visiting Fellow Florian Cafiero were hosted by head of the CERN Archives and Library Salomé Rohr, Head Archivist Olivia Mandica-Hart and colleagues, including Sandrine Reyes for a site visit of the archives.

The visit included presentations of the archives of CERN, a visit of the premises and of the stacks and archives, as well as a discussion about common projects, where the CERN archivists presented the archives and the digitization projects conducted so far. Part of an on-going collaboration between CERN, its open research repository Zenodo and the CDHM, this work represents common goals to foster academic cooperation, both in teaching and research, to make optimal use of the digital libraries curated by all participants, to reach out beyond academia by bringing in related disciplines, and to develop scholarly and creative projects  around and with digital collections of multilateral cooperation and diplomacy in Geneva.
