20 November, CCDP Research Fellow, Elena Butti and colleague Andrea Bonvillani (CONICET) joined the Marcha de la Gorra in Córdoba, Argentina – a powerful annual march that has been demanding justice for young people killed by the police for 19 consecutive years.
Their participation is part of a newly awarded SNIS project hosted by the CCDP called "Juvenicide: Reconceptualizing and Measuring Lethal Violence against Youth." The project brings together colleagues from El Salvador, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina and is carried out in close collaboration with the Colectivo Juvenicidio y Resistencias Sociales (JUVIR).
