Introducing This Week In Trade by Geneva Trade Platform and George Riddell

In mid-March 2026, the Geneva Trade Platform, together with Goyder Ltd’s George Riddell, launched a new weekly audio series: This Week in Trade.

At a time when global trade is being reshaped by geopolitical shifts, supply chain disruptions, and evolving economic policies, staying informed is both more difficult and more essential than ever. This series cuts through the noise to bring you a concise, curated round-up of the developments that matter most.

Each episode is a five-minute summary designed for practitioners, business leaders, and policymakers navigating the realities of cross-border trade. We focus on the stories that shape supply chains, influence investment decisions, and affect how goods, services, and capital move across borders.

Rather than revisiting headlines, This Week in Trade offers a short, practical briefing to help you stay ahead of the curve in a fast-moving environment. Each episode builds on the more in-depth weekly analysis published by George Riddell on LinkedIn, translating key insights into an accessible audio format.

As the series develops, we will continue to refine its format, introduce new voices, and respond to the issues that matter most to our listeners.

You can listen to This Week in Trade on YouTubeSpotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

This is a pilot series, and your feedback will help shape what comes next. We’d love to hear your thoughts on the first 3 episodes: what's useful, what’s missing, and which topics or voices you would like us to feature. You can reach us at comms@genevatradeplatform.org
