Professor Jean-Louis Arcand will serve as President of GDN and Director General of GDN Europe.
Jean-Louis Arcand, Professor of International Economics at the Geneva Graduate Institute, and former Director and Founder of the Centre for Finance and Development, has been appointed President of the Global Development Network (GDN) and Director General of GDN Europe.
Professor Arcand will assume the leadership of a growing and thriving organisation (see GDN's partners & funders and regional network) which enhances development research globally and promotes knowledge and research capacity in the Global South to improve policy at national, regional and global levels, across a wide range of thematic areas (see GDN's current and past programmes).
