Professor Viñuales Elected to the Institut de Droit International

Jorge E. Viñuales, Adjunct Professor of International Law at the Graduate Institute and Harold Samuel Professor of Law and Environmental Policy at Cambridge, has been elected to the Institut de Droit International during its 2019 Hague Session.

The Institut de Droit International (Institute of International Law or IIL) is an organisation devoted to the study and development of international law, whose membership comprises many of the world's leading public international lawyers. The IIL is generally considered the most authoritative world academy of international law; its work earned it the Nobel Peace Prize in 1904.
