The Graduate Institute’s new SDG Portal provides a window on our research projects, publications, courses, events and other activities connected to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
“More than 140 Graduate Institute faculty, researchers and students are actively working on all 17 SDGs”, says Cecilia Cannon, Head of Research at the Institute’s Global Governance Centre. “The portal will allow students to find professors working on specific SDGs and will help academics to collaborate on SDG-related activities.”
“We hope that research findings produced at the Graduate Institute will be put to good use in the policy world, where governments, non-governmental actors, scientists, academics, businesses and other actors are grappling with policy options and strategies that support global efforts to reach the SDGs by the year 2030.”
The SDG Portal, which is managed by Global Governance Centre staff including Cecilia Cannon, Esther May, and Thomas Biersteker, was launched at an event on 17 November, when a number of the Institute’s key projects were presented.
