The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and its partners support practice-oriented media training courses for scientists in order to foster dialogue between science and the media. These courses are aimed at interested researchers in Switzerland who would like to improve their skills in dealing with the media and the general public. Since 2015, writing workshops in German and French have been added to the offering. 

The next media training in English will be held on 24 October 2016 at MAZ in Lucerne, while the next media training and writing workshop in French will be held respectively on 9–10 September and 27/29 September 2016 at Maison de la communication in Lausanne.
